First, Mark N. is attending the league meeting tonight. Please say a big thank you to him for doing this very dirty deed. He attended last year, the season before that as well, and has also taken care of the field, both last season and this, and essentially does the dirty work. His willingness to step up and basically serve as the manager has been nothing less than outstanding. I hope you all agree he does not have to buy any beer or anything else for the next year.
Second, Mark also came up with the idea of splitting off the different jobs we have to do to make the team run. In this way, it wouldn't be necessary to have one or two people carry the load. For instance, we could use a treasurer, uniform/eqt manager, all that. And we could rotate it every season. Does anyone want to volunteer for either of those roles or do you have another role in mind?
